Nvidia has just launched its new GeForce Now streaming service
Nvidia has just launched its new streaming service called GeForce Now. It may not have been on the radar of most players, but at first glance, Nvidia's position on streaming seems competent. GeForce Now will offer those on PC, Android and Mac vertiginous access to games to play and disseminate. Televisions that use the NVIDIA shield will also be able to use the new service. GeForce will also support games in 1080p and 60fps. It is said that this will be improved in 4K and 1440P, but it will most likely take some time before seeing this materialize.
There is a free version of GeForce Now and a paid subscription. The free version will allow queue players to access the servers. It will also allow users to play only one hour at a time. Once you are connected for 60 minutes, the service will disconnect you. If you want to continue playing, you will need to continue to reconnect. Although it is technically possible to use GeForce Now without paying, it would bother you greatly.
Founding membership is the one for which you will have to pay. This offer will allow you to access the servers immediately without having to wait in potentially long queues. However, your playing time will always be limited. Although you do not have a kickoff in an hour, you will always be disconnected once you have played for six hours. It's more than enough for the most part, but it will probably upset the more hardcore community.
The price of the subscription will probably increase in the coming months. You can buy it now for only $4.99.
