Xbox will change the interface of its consoles

Xbox is preparing to make a series of substantial changes to its console interface. In this way, we can expect a fairly large redesign in the future . Although most of the audience will have to wait until next year to see these novelties in action, some users can already access these improvements from this week.

Through its official site, it has been confirmed that the next Xbox update will be available to a random selection of Xbox Insider users from tomorrow, while the rest will have to wait until 2023 . The changes go beyond a redesign of the main page, since we will also have access to:

-The new ability to go back, with which we will have quick access to the most recent games and applications.

-We can easily access the important applications of the system such as configuration, store, search and my games, as well as applications with their own mosaics dedicated to Xbox Home.

-The consistent design can be appreciated, as well as visual identifiers with updated designs to maintain the experience already known.

-When we move towards the bottom, we can see several selected categories and recommendations adapted to our game preferences.

This was what Ivy Kislev, senior manager of Xbox experiences, in this regard:

We know that Xbox's home page is where our players spend most of the time, and it is a very personal space. We also know that we can always be listening to and learning how we can do better here while we keep your fast and familiar experience. With that, we are starting a series of experiments of several months to learn how to create a more personalized home screen experience and address some main trends and applications of fans.

Although Xbox is expected to make a series of changes in the interface of its consoles in the coming months , the update will be available for the entire public at some point of 2023 for all users. On related issues, this week a new update arrived at the Xbox Series X | s. Similarly, a new elite control has been revealed.

Make Editor's note:

The user interface in Xbox is not bad, but it is not very good either. Although the images show something similar to what we currently have, it seems that the changes will be worth it.
