NVIDIA has officially presented the RTX 3050

Although the pandemic once again prevented an ESC edition will be carried out in a face-to-face manner, today we had a special presentation by NVIDIA within the framework of this technological event. Thus, the company recognized by its graphics cards revealed a fairly promising future full of different products for all types of consumer.

To begin, NVIDIA announced the RTX 3050. This model is the first class 50 desktop GPU that feeds the latest sets with ray trace to more than 60fps, and includes second-generation RT cores, as well as third-generation tensor cores for DSS and AI. This model comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, and has a price of $249 dollars, and will be available on January 27 through the global partners of NVIDIA.

Along with this, more than 160 laptop Gaming and Studios were revealed, which take as a basis the NVIDIA AMPERE architecture, with second-generation RT nuclei for rays and third generation tensor core for DSS and IA, creating the thinnest, Lights and more powerful laptops of all time. These laptops offer a wide range of form factors, such as dual screens, easels, convertible and 14-inch screens, many G-SYNC and 1440P sports screens.

Here two models are highlighted in particular. To begin, a Gaming laptop with a GeForce RTX 3080 ti. With 16 GB of GDDR6, the RTX 3080 IT offers a higher performance than the desktop Titan RTX NVIDIA. The price of these products is $2,499.

Next to this, a new GeForce RTX 3070 TI was also announced, which is up to 70% faster than the RTX 2070 SUPER laptops and can deliver 100FPS at a resolution of 1440p. The Laptops RTX 3070 TI has a price of $1,499.

On the other hand, the Studio platform has expanded substantially. One of the most striking points is Nvidia Canvas, a painting application that uses AI to generate landscape images from simple brushstrokes. This was created from the Gaugan2 research of NVIDIA. The application produces images with a resolution 4 times greater than in the past, with five additional elements such as flowers and shrubs. This new version of Canvas can be downloaded for free here.

Together with Canvas, NVIDIA Studio has added Nvidia Universe, which is available at no cost to millions of individual creators with GPUs GeForce RTX and NVIDIA RTX. The real-time 3D design collaboration and the virtual world simulation platform of NVIDIA allows artists, designers and creators to connect and collaborate in leading design applications from their laptop or work station with RTX technology. The most striking feature is Universe Nucleus Cloud, which allows sharing easily with a click to collaborate universe 3D scenes. Artists can collaborate in real time from the other side of the room or from the world without transferring mass data sets.

Similarly, 10 new games were announced for RTX, which use the GPU accelerated ray trace, Nvidia DSS and NVIDIA Reflex game technologies to provide high levels of realism. Here we find The Day Before, Escape from Markov, Rainbow Six Extraction, Racing, God of War, and more.

Finally, GeForce Now, the Streaming platform of Nvidia, has an association with Electronic Arts, bringing battlefield 4 and battlefield v to this service from today. On related topics, Samsung announced new screens with support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Nvidia's RTX 3050 GPU REVEALED! (with better ray-tracing)

Once again, NVIDIA has shown that its role in the PC industry is important. Not only all its progress in sections as Studios and Laptops are necessary for this type of technologies to be more accessible, but the arrival of a new model of the RTX is fundamental at this time.
