Animated video game series projects are multiplying in recent months. The project is signed Interplay Entertainment Corp., Holding Operations Rights of the License and its Realization will be ensured by Michel K. Parade ( Minuit 14, Deep Future ), supported by producer Aaron ticket ( Monsters, Alien Raiders ) and the Animation Studio Passion Pictures. The series will tell the adventures of the famous Jim and his quest to return to the fold on the planet Earth.

Earthworm Jim, well-known players for his adventures on 16-bit consoles, had already been the subject of an animated series adaptation, in 1995, by Warner Bros. But the interplay entertainment project is very different, as explained by director Michel K. Parade: I remember loved Earthworm Jim when I was a child. And there is so much potential in this universe: a galaxy full of animals that fight for power. Jim is a worm of land in a universe where the earth is nothing more than a myth. His struggle to find a meaning is surreal and comic.. The tone of the series should therefore be much less childish than that of the adaptation of 1995, as the producer Aaron brolly suggested: The fans have matured and deserve a current version while we attract new audiences..

A first trailer of the program, taking the form of an interview with Jim, has just illustrated this. For a hero who, at the time of his exit, had spurned the gallery thanks to his humor and his excellent animations bringing him closer to a film or series hero, we can say that the loop is curly.
