PS2-Hero Sly Cooper could comeback with a new PS5

About seven years ago, the makers of the Action Adventure series Sley Cooper shared that there is no new part in development. The developer team of Sanzaru Games was only known that it would always be associated with the series.

After the first three parts of the series were developed by the Ghost of Tsushima-makers Sucker Punch, the responsibility for the fourth part of Sanzaru Games went over. But as it seems, the developers could have changed their opinion of seven years ago.

Sly Cooper should be in planning

According to several insiders, a new part of the Sly Cooper series should be in planning. In a now deleted 4CHAN post, a supposed leader confirmed that Sucker Punch would take a new part in attack. Unfortunately, the post office has been deleted, but on Reddit are still some of the comments to see:

Under the commenters, industry insider shpeshal_nick is found again, which has often been putting numerous rumors in the world. He has heard of similar plans and can confirm the anonymous 4chan poster.

However, he has not heard that specifically sucker punch wants to start developing, but only anyone. He suspects that Sucker Punch would make the most sense, but this is difficult to engage with the release of Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut.

When asked if Shpeshal_Nick knew, if Sly Cooper 5 would be a continuation of Sly Cooper: Hunting by the time, he answered the following:

No idea, buddy. My private message says only Sly 5. I just played a small part of the game, which came out on PS3, so I do not know much about the franchise.

We should enjoy the rumors with outermost caution. Every person can post anonymous on 4CHAN, what she wants and most of Shpeshal_nick's info needs to prove. So it remains to be seen if there is actually a 5th part of Sly Cooper.

The last game of the Sly Cooper series appeared in 2013 for PS3 and PS Vita and carried the title Sly Cooper: Hunting through the time. Using a time machine, players should open themselves to collecting the pages from the Book of the Master Thief, which were distributed over different timespots.

Sly Cooper is a raccoon and a member of a thief band. Together with his friends Bentley and Murray they put the crimes of other criminals. As a counterpartin, the Interpol employee Carmelita Fox, the Slys's gang is constantly on heels and tries to arrest them.

All four parts are linked by the story. The fourth part ended with a cliff hanger, which could be clarified in a fifth part. So it is more than likely that a potential Sly Cooper 5 will continue the story.
