PLAYMAJI has announced that the polymega will come out all over the world on September 12th. There is no question of an exit in the traditional sense of the term. Indeed, These are the people who have pre-ordered the console on polymega.com between September 2018 and April 2020 who will begin to receive their console on that date.
PLAYMAJI explains that it will begin to deliver the standard consoles, packs, modules as well as the different accessories from September 12th and that it considers to have finished sending its products to the people concerned by the end of the month of next October. Logically, shipments will be made in order receipt.
All shipments will be made from the Playmaji headquarters in California and the manufacturer believes that according to the reception address, the arrival of the parcels will put between one and three weeks. Bryan Bernal, the PDG of Playmaji explains that the successive delays of the polymega have been caused by the Pandemic of Covid-19 and " other factors outside their control" in their production plant in Burma.
Progressive exit
As we said earlier, Playmaji also plans to launch a virtual shop of games accessible directly from the interface of the polymega. And to believe the Californian manufacturer, this shop will be launched for the end-of-year holidays 2021. Bryan Bernal also expects a clear increase in the production capacities and availability of the polymega in 2022 and beyond .
Always about availability, Playmaji explains to people who ordered the polymega and / or accessories after April 2020 that partial deliveries will be offered to its international distributors NK Trading (Japan) and Worldwide Distribution GmbH (Europe) from September. These deliveries will be completed by the first quarter 2022.
Finally, the latest orders made between the end of 2020 and today on the official website of the console see their delivery repulsed in the first half of 2022 (and this includes the shipments of GC01 Light Gun, the gun to play the old Shooters on rail on modern screens).
As a reminder, the polymega allows you to play PlayStation, Saturn, Mega-CD, Neo-Geo CD, and PC Engine CD. Using modules sold separately, the console can also become compatible with the NES, the Super Nes, the MEGA-DRIVE / 32X and the PC Engine. Our console test, made from the pre-production version, is available ** at this address.
