Battlefield 2042: Next Announcement to the title is a short film

Battlefield 2042 is to be published on October 22, 2021, but DICE is probably not ready to show a little more gameplay to the title. The right announcement for the new Battlefield we received in June of this year and first real gameplay followed directly one week later. Since then, DICE showed only Battlefield Portal, the second great extension of the title.

Players are of course quite excited to see more gameplay for the shooter and therefore waited quite looking forward to a new announcement. We will receive a new announcement soon, but we have to wait a little longer for new gameplay scenes.

Instead, on the 12th of August at 5 pm we will get a short film about the world of the title. The film bears the name Exodus and focuses mainly on the NO-PATS, which represent the soldiers of the world of Battlefield 2042 (Buy Now 59.99 €). These are temporarily attributable to either the US or Russia to stand with the winning power to the end of the battle.

Until the short film is published, DICE would like to give a small insight into the places of Battlefield 2042 "by the eyes of the journalist Kayvan Bechir". The first story for this has already been published and further consequences will be followed in the next few days. However, these should also expand the world of Battlefield 2042, so there is no form of gameplay here.

Fans have to wait a bit more gameplay to face more gameplay, but the Gamescom is not too far away. Maybe the developers will reveal a little more to the title here.
